Become a Vessel of Transformation

The Hope Movement is not an organization, or a one man show. It is a movement of destined individuals and organizations united as one, dedicating our lives to the rescue and care of children and adults living in desperate need, reaching out to those who are longing for love.

A new day has arrived and the Hope Movement is the formation of a generation of transformation, for The Hope Movement is you. This is your opportunity to change your life, and transform the world.

Impoverished souls, in impoverished conditions. More slavery today than in all of history. Wars, floods, street children, adictions, sadness consumes life. But we are called to be the hands of God. Governments cannot change the situation until they change their heart. It is time for the people of God to rise up, united as one. This is the formation of a generation of transformation. You can remain seated complaining, or dedicate your life to serve God to transform the world. The day has arrived for a change. God is tired and it is time for a heart decision. Today God has a message for you, run to my arms, look into my eyes, and find the purpose that I have created for your life. Become my hands and reach the hurting, for you are the ripple that creates a movement of hope.

  • Raise your voice on behalf of victims of injustice through prayer and advocacy.
  • Reach out to people in your community and around the world to bring hope, inspiration, unite, and transform cities into havens of hope.
  • Raise support to enable the Hope Movement to rescue more victims of oppression and fulfill the vision of God.Start or Join a Hope Movement Chapter to unite, inspire, and transform lives.

Volunteer of Hope

The involvement of people from around the world has ignited a global Hope Movement against human suffering, shaking the comfort zone to inspire unity, forming a generation of transformation. There are three types of people. Those who do nothing, blinded by their comfort zones. Those who do something. An those who unite and ignite a Movement of Hope. Which one are you?

In James 2:14 -17 it says what good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Proverbs 29:7 - The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.

This an opportunity for you to answer your call to fulfill your life's purpose by joining the Hope Movement family working with us to raise awareness, raise funds, and reach out to those around us with arms of love.

Cell Phone Collection

The Hope Movement has partnered with Shelter Alliance a Florida based recycling company. Shelter Alliance gives a donation for every cell phone collected to the work of the Hope Movement. This is a wonderful opportunity for people to volunteer some of their time to collect cell phones which generate revenue to rescue abused and abandoned children, educate the next generation, feed the hungry, stabilize the family structure, breaking the cycle of hopelessness. Follow the simple steps below to get started in making a difference.

We are certain that you will develop new collection ideas and we hope that you will share these strategies with us. In our experience, the difference in the effort invested in a very successful collection and a not very successful one is negligible, yet the disparity in the net result ($1,500 vs. $150) could be tremendous.

We encourage you to utilize your resources in the best way that you see fit, and we also encourage you to be as creative as possible in your collection strategy. After all, you certainly know your territory and the people in your community better than we do. But the one thing that makes a difference between success and failure, in our opinion, is the level of participation from all of the members of your organization in one common goal: To raise funds through the collection of used cell phones.

Most importantly, this fundraising program does not conflict or take away from other concurrent fundraising activities. After all, all that is asked of your community is to hand over their old, used cell phones. We know that you will come up with new ideas. Please tell us about them so that we can share them with the other participants throughout the country.

Change 4 Change

Change 4 Change is a campaign led by students from kindergarten through college to rescue victims of modern day slavery, poverty, and hopelessness. Students will learn about children, women and men who are modern day slaves and how they, as students, can help bring rescue to those slaves by raising funds by collecting change which will create change.

Students will be inspired as they participate as modern day abolitionists. This is a great program to launch in conjunction with the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, Black History Month or as a culmination of lessons teaching about slavery in America and our pursuit of freedom for all people. Students will move from learning to action as they become new millennium abolitionists and human rights activists.

Hope Movement Chapters

The most developed Hope Movement Chapters are involved in all four categories. However, Hope Movement Chapters come in a variety of shapes and sizes, as the people at each college, youth group, or church are uniquely suited to do different things. Some groups consist of two people who meet together to pray about injustice, while others are large, active clubs, while others are parts of other groups or ministries.

Whatever your group looks like, know that showing up on behalf of the victims of abuse and oppression is the most important step you can take. And by taking that first step, know that you have already made a major difference.

Here are some clues that may identify a possible trafficking victim:

  • Accompanied by a controlling person or boss; not speaking on own behalf;
  • Lack of control over personal schedule, money, I.D., travel documents;
  • Transported to or from work; lives and works in the same place;
  • Debt owed to employer/crew leader; inability to leave job;
  • Bruises, depression, fear, overly submissive.

Asking the right questions will help to determine if the person is a victim of trafficking who needs help.
