Sorry but what does posting what you post online help, certainly not unifying, certainly not advancing the Gospel. God’s will that takes precedence over everything and everyone (Matthew 6:33). God’s plans and purposes are fixed, and His will is inviolable. What He has purposed, He will bring to pass, and no government can thwart His will (Daniel 4:34-35). because “the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes” (Daniel 4:17). Even though evil men abuse their political power, meaning it for evil, God means it for good, working “all things together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
We as Christians are consumed with self, our family, our nation. but the word of God says. Philippians 3:20-21, But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. Time to be eternally minded.
Pray for those in leadership, edify your brothers and sisters, be a light in a dark world!
So no doubt we need immigration reform, protect borders from criminals, but know the facts, majority of crimes....by citizens, and if you had empathy you would place yourself in other shoes. Imagine your family is starving, suffering, and just a few hundred miles away there is hope for them, but the process is abusive, oppressive, expensive and while trying to do everything legally your family is starving....now what you do? Its time for us to see others as souls and not their status and react Biblically. Here are 12 passages that discuss how Christians should treat immigrants, refugees and those in need of help.
You are The Hope Movement, we are a team in the work of God, we can not fulfill our calling without you. Just as our calling is to go and work in the mission field to transform lives, you have a profound calling to give to help sustain the work being accomplished.
As the word of God has directed us in 2 Corinthians 9, "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
I am trying to find the words to express to you my Lord how I feel about my love for you, the honor I feel to be called by you and the love I feel for those whom we serve and those who help us serve them. I long to be a radiance of your presence, that when they look at me, they don't see but you. I hunger to be close to you and bring others closer to you.
I cry for those in need and feel their pain as if it were happening to me. I feel your anguish for your heart is connected to my heart. I am consumed by my awe of you and the responsibility that you have called me to do. I don't want to fail you or others but rather long to make you proud of me, not for ego, but because I love you so much that I want to make you smile and bring joy to others. I trust you with every fiber of my being. I am in awe how last year we lived 100 percent on faith, not knowing how we were going to pay expenses but you never failed us and always provided.
Fatherless, Motherless, Hopeless the result of selfishness. Longing for a loving caress. Drowning in the abyss of society’s lack of knowledge that I exist. Imagine you in my place, the result of human disgrace. 100,000,000 like me. More slavery now than in history. In the U.S. alone 50,000 women and children are trafficked annually. They abide where you reside. But you never heard their cry. This is an emergency for a movement of hope. Psychological contamination fed into the blood stream from generation to generation. Family disintegration. The definition of family in a state of disintegration. But there is a hope for family reconciliation. Impoverished souls, in impoverished conditions. Self medication suffering from hope malnutrition. The face of racism changed from segregation to immigration. But there is a hope for the purification of the heart pollution.
It is estimated that over 1.5 million people from the United States participate in short-term mission trips every year. That is a lot of people. And those 1.5 million people spend close to $2 billion for these trips.
My husband and I live in Guatemala and host short-term mission teams throughout the year. I am originally from California and he was born and raised in Guatemala. For me, short-term mission trips were kind of like camp. Every summer I had the chance to go somewhere new and “help people.” For my husband, hosting short-term mission teams in Guatemala was part of what he and his family did. There were blessings that came from it, but it was mostly a lot of work.
We have both seen the good, the bad and the ugly of short-term missions. And we continue to feel this tension with the short-term mission teams that we host. Do they do more harm than good? Do they perpetuate the cycle of poverty? Do they contribute to feelings of superiority? Or inferiority? Our work with families and communities in Guatemala, as well as churches and schools from the U.S. has forced us to ask these questions daily.
The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.
This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Sub-sequential Internal Non-morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.
This is a secure way to give a one-time or monthly gift to help us continue the work God has started in various nations including Guatemala, Kenya and The U.S. The Hope Movement is God's ministry and we are all called to give, take action and preach the Gospel, it is all of our responsibility, if we believe the Word of God it is required of us. So join His work as you are The Hope Movement and work with us to continue the work that God has started.
We need to raise $10,000 within 60 days. Our monthly operations for our mission work is $2,500 in Guatemala and now in Kenya will be double that amount. As you can see there is a lot of need and we need you to take on this passion to help us help others.
