We have been blessed to have licensed Psychologists and counselors to volunteer their time at our Haven of Hope center in Escuintla, Guatemala. They often do this on a weekly bases and have developed a beautiful relationship with the children and families. The area where our center is located is consumed with poverty, dysfunctional families and youth who are growing up without morals or values.
We are breaking the cycle by providing weekly counseling sessions for youth and families. This past week we taught on resolving conflict to teach children how to deal with difficult situations in a peaceful way and reflect the love of Jesus through their actions.
