Greeting to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Reformed Baptist Pastors Training Institute was started in February 2017. Pastors and believers from around Tamil Nadu gather every month third week for the three days at Evangelical Baptist Church, Madurai. Pastors from various backgrounds especially from the Pentecostal backgrounds are introduced to the Reformed doctrines. They are amazed to learn the doctrine of the Bible. We give them two courses, the Basic and Advance courses.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the Pastors Training classes are stopped. During this time we tried to do through online like Zoom and Google Meet. Many of the Pastors are from villages they are not able to have proper network connections. This ministry was on hold because of the lockdown restrictions. After the second wave of COVID 19, our government gave us a few relaxations to open the education institutions. Lord helped us resume our Pastors Training classes. This time we allowed pastors who are vaccinated to attend the classes
This month classes are held from the 24th of August to the 26th of August, 2021. Thirteen pastors from different places attended this month's classes. The lessons which we taught them are, Pastor D
Stephenson teaching them systematic theology, Pastor Mark teaching them Homiletics, and Mr. Jude teaching them Hermeneutics.
From next month we have few new students to join these classes all new students will be enrolled in the Basic course. The returning students are in the Advance Courses. In the Basic Course, we teach them New Testament Introduction, Discipleship, Bibliology, and the Gospel of Mark.
